Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right ...

Jenna Lacombe needs complete control, whether it’s in the streets ... or between the sheets. So when she sets out on a solo road trip to visit her family in New Orleans, she’s beyond annoyed that the infuriatingly sexy Jack Oliver wants to hitch a ride with her. Ever since they shared a wild night together last year, he’s been trying to strip away her defenses one by one. He claims he’s just coming along to keep her safe-but what’s not safe for her is prolonged exposure to the tattooed hottie.

Jack can’t get Jenna out from under his skin. She makes him feel alive again after his old life nearly destroyed him-and losing her is not an option. Now Jack’s troubles are catching up to him, and he’s forced to return to his hometown in Louisiana. But when his secrets put them both in harm’s way, Jenna will have to figure out how far she’s willing to let love in ... and how much she already has.

My Thoughts

Its no surprise that Im a fan of Chelsea Fines writing. She won me over with her New Adult debut, Best Kind of Broken (read my review here), and she hasnt let me down since. We read about the shy, broken girl in the first book, and we go to know the troubled, cocky pretty boy in Perfect Kind of Trouble (read my review here). Now we get to read all bout the tough-as-nails, tattooed badass that is Jenna.

I love the badass heroinesthey often make for one hell of a story, and Jenna is no different. Life hasnt exactly been too easy for her and her family, and the results of that childhood are evident when you meet her. Its hard for her to let people in, and thats where Jack comes in. Its not often that you read about the guy whos following the girl because he truly wants a relationship with her, and not for some ulterior motive. Despite his dark past (and wow I didnt really see that one coming) Jack is definitely the type of guy you want by your side. He has the whole dark, mysterious aura to him, but hes honestly a good guy. Yeah, he mightve been involved in some dangerous stuff, but hes wholeheartedly in love with Jenna. *sigh* And poor Jenna, she cant let herself love him.

What I like most about this novel, all the previous novels in the series, is the depth found in them. You truly get to know these characterstheir fears and insecurities and their deepest desiresand at the end of the day, you cant help but to sympathize with them. Nevertheless, I truly enjoyed Fines Right Kind of Wrong. Once again, shes done a wonderful job with her story, her characters, her setting. If you havent yet read the first two books in the series, then I truly commend you to do so. One things for sure: you wont regret it.

About Chelsea Fine

Chelsea lives in Phoenix, Arizona where she spends most of her time writing stories, painting murals, and avoiding housework at all costs. She’s ridiculously bad at doing dishes and claims to be allergic to laundry. Her obsessions include: superheroes, coffee, sleeping-in, and crazy socks. She lives with her husband and two children, who graciously tolerate her inability to resist teenage drama on TV and her complete lack of skill in the kitchen.

I usually look for a funny, charming guy with a cute smile guy in books, dimples might give bonus points and make a character the perfect book bf
